Farmer's Market
The next day in Charleston, we walked downtown to find more good treats, we went to a doughnut shop on King Street.
Food is definitely good in Charleston!
Next we visited, outside of Charleston, a Tea Plantation.
We learned how the tea is planted, harvested, and used to make the various types of tea: oolong, green, and black.
We rode around the plantation on a trolley.
We also visited the Angel Tree, which is over 300 years old.
It was huge!
After our trip to the tree we ate a late brunch at Hominy Grill. I learned hominy is corn.
I had an awesome chicken salad here with corn and some cornbread. Yum!
