The Magic Kingdom Commercial

Not very long ago, we woke up around 2:45 a.m. to go do a commercial at Magic Kingdom.  We had to be there at 5:30 a.m. to check in.  We had to have pastels as our wardrobe, we were sent a wardrobe swatch to wear.  We got there very early.  A bit surreal to be at Magic Kingdom so early and seeing it at an hour we are not use to.  We had recently just finished our annual passes, so it was a treat to come do the commercial.  Once the director gave us our spot, right in front of the castle he told us he would direct us to walk and he told us that we would need to "act" like we were having fun.  So we stood in our spot, we sat in our spot and while they were filming the "show" portion of the commercial we were told to applaud and cheer as we were also part of a crowd.  We cheered, we applauded all on cue.  There were other families around us and couples who too were placed as walkers.  But none of us were used for "walkers."  It was a neat experience to see how the commercial was made.  And we got to stay at the Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day if we wished and they gave us each tickets to return to a park another day.  That is 2 tickets for each of us!  Total of 10.  Which was awesome!

Our Anniversary Get Away

My parents watched the kiddos so Page and I could go on a 3 day, two night excursion for our 20th anniversary.  Oh, what a wonderful time we had.  We stayed at the Pirate ship hotel, as we call it.  We relaxed, went and hung out at Disney Springs.  We ate at Frontera, a restaurant we had been wanting to eat at since it had opened.  It is Rick Bayless' restaurant.  We walked around and looked at the remaining Christmas decor, such as the Christmas tree walk.  We came back in the evenings for the Christmas Drone show and we also did a Stitch Scavenger Hunt.  It was such a sweet time to be with the one I love.  I am so thankful to God for His blessing of my sweet Page.
