On the 2nd day of Christmas my true love gave to me.........SNOW and kids playing!

The second day we arrived at Grandmas and Papaw's in Ohio!

There was snow awaiting our arrival, fresh not played in snow.

Fresh for footprints, snowballs, snow angels, and snowmen.

Stone Mountain

We have been gone for 12 days.

Twelve Days of Christmas.

On the first day of Christmas we went to Stone Mountain.

It was decorated beautifully.

I am really all about the experiencing the experience.

We went for a train ride and watched the Polar Express in 4-D.

We stayed right across the street from the Mountain at the Stone Mountain Inn.

It was Christmas-sy!

In the morning we ate a nice sit down breakfast in the Inn and then we headed off to our second day of Christmas to Grandma and Grandpas!

A lot of fun was had by kids in our Inn room, it was exciting, we were at our first place of lodging on a long

adventure.

Homeschool Fellowship Christmas Party

Maggie Beth eating Christmas tree.

Twelve days of Christmas

Yesterday was our homeschool fellowship Christmas party.

Page got a few pictures before he took Maggie home for a nap.

Hezekiah told me, "Mommy, I had fun.  My favorite part was the candy race."

My favorite part was the acting out of the 12 days of Christmas and watching the kids with vasoline on their noses wearing red or green paper on their noses.

Tee Hee!  (Sadly I do not have pictures of this event....Page took off with Magpie)!

I think Maggie and Eli's favorite part was making the Christmas trees and eating them.

Merry Christmas!

Eli's Birthday Party for Jesus

Posted by Unknown | | Posted On Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 5:47 PM

Eli's preschool class had a Birthday party for Jesus.

He could choose one guest to invite.

Guess who got invited?

Daddy.

Someone was pretty excited to see Daddy and spend some one on one time together.

What a cutie pie!

"Mommy, put yours hairs down!"

Posted by Unknown | | Posted On at 5:37 PM

There is a little girl in our house who tells me, "Mommy put your hairs down!"  I often get this multiple times a day when I am putting my hair in a pony tail to get it out of my face.

This little one likes to protest my hair being put up.  She insists that I put it down.

It might just be that she is a bit too into hair these days.

Yesterday her and her brother Eli were in the backseat of the car fighting over a piece of hair.  Each insisting that they have the piece of hair.  I do not even know whose piece of hair it was, but it was a bit much.  So, I reached onto my head and literally pulled a piece of hair out of my head and gave it to Eli.  Now each child was happy.  Each child had a piece of hair.  I can seriously say, "My children made me pull my hair out."  LITERALLY!

Christmas Morning on the 12th

Posted by Unknown | | Posted On at 5:04 PM

Christmas morning came a little bit early for us this year.

But then again we will have Christmas again with out of town family on Christmas.

But well, who wants to open their presents and then not be able to enjoy them for a few weeks right?

So, Santa made a special visit to our home.

All after watching Polar Express last night with our friends on their cool, outdoor movie screen.

We had some excited kids.

All fast asleep last night and then wide awake this morning at 6 a.m.

We told them they had to wait til zero hours, which was 7, ha ha ha!

I use to tell my parents it was zero hours....time for those presents!!!

I think Page enjoyed what Santa brought him too.

Thank you for the gift of Christmas.  What a wonderful season to celebrate our Lord and Savior and to celebrate with family & friends.
