Life has been busy, I have not had a chance to blog in a while. I have been doing childcare on Sunday nights for a life group that Page is doing, I have been teaching Zoology to homeschoolers on Mondays (after I teach my kids in the morning), I have been helping with swim team on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, I had been doing a life group on Friday mornings, and I am still working Monday and Wednesday nights at Eastern teaching Fundamentals of Biology. So, blogging had taken a backseat. Today I have been catching up and a lot of things are now off my spinning plate and I am so grateful that the Lord helped me through each day.
Since swim was over last Tuesday, I decided that the kids and I on Thursday should check out Wonderworks. It was the first time we had been there and there are a lot of cool things to do. We spent about 5 hours there. We had a lot of fun. We had gone with the Facebook group on Brevard homeschoolers.
There are a ton of interactive science stations on the first floor that had an earthquake simulation, a hurricane simulation, being a lightning rod, how cold was the water when the Titanic sank. On the second floor there was a Bubble lab, Simon Says, a Pulley station, TV trivia, a huge piano, Space area, and Light Brite. And on the third floor there was a ropes course (that Hezekiah is a master at), there is Laser Tag - where I won, and there is a 4D simulator which we did, and it was super cool. I would definitely recommend Wonderworks for a rainy day in Orlando or a super hot day, to cool off.
The kids seriously loved the Bubble lab. Eli wants to build one in our backyard. He says if we do he will spend all day, everyday, outside.
