Celebrating 500 years since Ponce De Leon landed in Florida, today we went to the Galeón Andalucía. It is a wooden replica of a late-17th century Spanish galleon. The ship measures 162 feet long, carries 12 cast-iron cannons, and boasts a crew of 22 sailors.
We enjoyed exploring around the vessel, seeing the living quarters, the poop deck, the cannons, and the rigging.
It was a beautiful day for a trip to the Spanish galleon.
And my kids enjoyed being pirates! So cute!
