Operation Fall Festival - Trick or Treat

Last night before I headed off to work I got to spend a good 45-ish minutes with my family going to Fall Festivals.
We always go to Central's Fall Festival, and this year Maggie Beth wanted to go to her Preschool Teachers Fall Festival
at Life Pointe.
So Page took the kids there after Central.
After the kids had their fun at Life Pointe, Page brought them back to the house to hand out candy.
They love handing out candy!
It is so exciting.
So he set up out of the garage with a cooler and a bowl of candy and he and the kids decided they would try to scare the trick or treaters by being super still. Hezekiah sat in the tire swing with his cowboy get up on and water guns very still while the swing swung. Eli stood like a statue near the mailbox, and Maggie Beth stood still (as still as she could without giggling) near the bird feeder. Page sat guarding the candy very stoic.
Apparently there were some kids checking them out, wondering what they were going to do. They crack me up!
When I got home after work I went to give hugs and kisses to my sweeties. They told me about the fun they had and their "stories."
And when I kissed one head in particular, this head smelled like a bounce house.
I said to Hezekiah, after I kissed him, "You know what you smell like? A bounce house."
He just smiled.
I am thankful for my husband who enjoys these fun times with our kids.
I am thankful that I got to spend some time having fun too!
