It's not much, just a little backyard pool. All you need to do is add water and that equals fun in this house.
Maggie Beth has been asking all day long lately, "Can we go swimming?" When the answer is "Yes." She squeals at a very high pitch with delight, claps her hands, and jumps up and down. Evenings have been filled with splashing and spraying. When we are finished with school work in the morning, the mornings are filled with suntan lotion scents, feet kicking, and bubble blowing.
I feel that summer has arrived.
Only 5 days of school left for Hezekiah and he will soon be an official 2nd grader. I have been so blessed to watch him grow this school year in his knowledge and love for God. Last year at Easter he asked Jesus into his heart. I asked him if he was interested in getting baptized and he said no, not right now. So it came back up in our discussions with his school work about following Christ. He confirmed to me that he asked Jesus into his heart all on his own doing and asked about being baptized and asked if he could get baptized in the river. I said well, "Of course if you want to." So, I guess we will plan that sometime & maybe invite some friends to see. I am thinking the backyard pool might just be as good! Ha ha ha!
Anyhow, I am thankful for the priceless days that I have with the ability to teach from home and God has truly blessed me through being obedient to His leading. I am blessed to have been given this gift to stay at home and teach. Thank you Lord, may you continue to bless us with this sweet time.
We want to come to his baptism! Let us know :-)
