We learned about the jellyfish today. We learned about it's body structure and about invertebrates. Did you know that a jellyfishes body is made up of 95% water.
We also made a wheel on the life cycle of the jellyfish.
After doing all of our jellyfish activities we made jello jellyfish with gummy worm tentacles.
They were quite yummy according to the kids. The pictures of the boys putting their faces in the jello slurping it up makes me laugh and reminds me of the movie A Christmas Story, when the little boy is eating his dinner and the mom says, "Show mommy how a piggy eats, Mommy's little piggy!" They were cracking me up. They had grape jello all over their faces. Hilarious!
Oh, wow, you are a good mommy!! Just wondering . . . what curriculum do you use?
No curriculum, I just find things on the internet that I can use.
I am always impressed with your ideas and follow through. I may have the ideas, but my follow through - less than stellar.
Hey G - how can I get your blog to just come to my mailbox? I keep missing posts because I don't see them come up on facebook.
