Days To Remember G's Blog

Last Sunday was Page's surprise 39th birthday party. Thank you to all our friends who were able to attend. You all made it such a special day and time for him and our family. We are certainly blessed to have such amazing people be our friends. Thank you also to those who helped me pull it off. Thank you Myshel, Mark, and Casey! Thanks also to Mr. Mark Morgan for taking these lovely photos of the party! And thanks for helping me keep it a secret the best I could. Apparently our house was a little too clean for Page to not know something was a foot. I would also like to say thank you to the Hall family, what an amazing friendship Page and Mark have had since grade school that they, the Hall's, would travel an afternoon to come celebrate and hang out with us.

We had a great time and I think the number of children certainly outnumbered the adults, but as long as the kids do not know that and create a coup d'etat then all is well in the world, right? The cake is a funny thing. I had wanted my favorite bakery, Sweet Temptations, to do the cake in a theme of my choosing, like maybe photography or wood working. However, my fav went out of business so I went with a chain store cake who had limited choices so a Harley Davidson cake it was. Crack me up.......the boys picked it out! I think because it had a motorcycle. But I did enjoy the flames and all the black icing everyone sported after eating cake. Especially Eli. Everyone I think though had a black tint to their teeth the remainder of the evening. It was super delicioso though!
