Texas Roadhouse Field Trip

Today we went on a field trip to Texas Roadhouse to see the behind the scenes of how a restaurant works.
The kids got to make their own rolls. And cut them out with a cookie cutter.
The hostess showed them how to know when a table is clean or not, how to place an order, and how to greet guests.
We also had a tour of the kitchen, no picture taking was allowed.
They showed the kids the prep areas for the food, showed them how the dish washer washes dishes in 90 seconds,
(that was impressive), showed them their huge walk-in fridge, showed them the butcher and where he cuts the meat all day (in a cold walk-in fridge, he even has to wear a parka), and they also showed them where they cook, grill, and bake their yummy bread.
We even got to say "Hi," to the chef making our lunches.
The waitresses/hostess also taught the kids the electric slide dance they do, played peanut basketball, and gave the kids tokens for a free meal.
