Colonial Williamsburg, Va - The Wythe House, the Cooper, the Garden, the BANISTER

We visited the Wythe House, John Wythe was a tutor to Thomas Jefferson and at the battle of Yorktown, George Washington had stayed here in this home prior to going to battle.  The colonists told us that the banister/handrail of the stairs was the original banister and George Washington had actually touched the banister.  We all ran our hands up and down that banister.

 The Cooper made barrels.
