Vero Beach Archaeological Dig

A couple weeks ago we went to Vero Beach to do an archaeological dig. The kids had to get dirt, sift through the dirt and find whatever they could. We found charcoal, a fish scale, and a bone. It was a lot of fun. The kids all enjoyed sifting and finding. Eli wanted to keep the bone he found, but since it was a dig site he was not allowed to for research purposes.
