Eli's art work above.
This week 2 of my 3 are at art camp in the morning.
It is a weird week for me, I am use to having the kids with me in the mornings for the most part, and really the whole day.
So Hezekiah has been getting some one on one time, so this morning I had him help me wash the car.
Also, our church is having VBS in the evening and the kids are going to that. So for this mom who teaches her kids at home, this is a rarity....time alone at her own home for 2 hours in an evening. I honestly do not remember a time really of being home in my house with out a child running around.
Strange it is, but a real treat too!
So if you have the blessing of being in your home alone at times like maybe when your kids are at school...........I am happy for you........will you be happy for me at least for this one week? :)
And that's reality!
Honey, I shrunk the kids......

After we played at Honey, I shrunk the kids we kicked over to Epcot to ride Sum of All Thrills.
That one is where the kids design their own ride and then get to ride in a simulator. It is super great, if I had kids in a physics class I totally would take them to this ride. It is such a great tool to teach about kinetic and potential energy, and force. Eli impressed me on how much he knew in designing his ride.
This time I rode with Eli and Page rode with Hezekiah.
Goodbye Disney............we have had a WONDERFUL time!
We full-filled our bucket lists of our annual pass ending!
'Til we meet again! :)
Bye Bye Buzz & Woody!

We did our final drawings at the art of animation area, where we drew Goofy yesterday.
Eli also enjoyed watching the artist as he told us step by step how to draw the character.
We were right up front.
We all have enjoyed this part of Hollywood Studios. It is really cool! And I am always impressed with our creations.
We also got a special prize to ride Toy Story two times in a row.
We were in the fast pass line, and they needed a party of 5 or more and we were the party!
And they asked later if we wanted to ride again, that it was just easier for them to let us stay on than to ask for another party and we were like, uhhhh, sure. If you know anything about this ride, the wait is normally 80-100 minutes and the fast passes are usually handed out by noon, so it is one to get to early unless you want to wait. So we were more than happy to stay aboard for another round of play! And it was not busy at all yesterday at this Hollywood Studios. The only park that was busy was Magic Kingdom this weekend. So that too was a special present in itself.
Hollywood Studios Finale
Posted by Unknown | | Posted On at 10:48 AM
Yesterday we spent our final day at Hollywood Studios (which I guess if I had to choose my favorite park out of the four, this would be my favorite....but that is kinda of like asking me if I like chocolate, peanut butter, chocolate chip cookie dough, or peanut butter smoothies better.......it is pretty much I like it all kind of thing).
But the final choices of Hollywood Studios for our finale were, Toy Story, Star Tours, Honey, I shrunk the Kids, and the Rockin' Roller Coaster.
Eli was the rebel spy yesterday, Maggie Beth and Page have also had this privilege.
Goodbye Space Mountain

Magic Kingdom Finale

After we said goodbye to Animal Kingdom we had some unfinished business at Magic Kingdom.
Hezekiah had to do one more mission to Space.
As we waited for our fast pass time to Space Mountain we enjoyed Monsters Inc., Buzz Lightyear, and some treats!
At Monsters Inc., Page always has wanted to be "That Guy," but he wasn't.......but Hezekiah got air time in a joke b/c he was wearing his batman shirt. The joke was, "How does Batman's mom call him for dinner?" She says, "Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner, Dinner-time." And then they said, and "Oh, Batman is even here." And they showed Hezekiah up on the big screen.........he was pumped!
I really love all the night time spectacular of Magic Kingdom, the lights and castle are so pretty lit up!
