At Legoland we got to see the new Star Wars Lego mini-land.
Not sure who enjoyed that more, Page or the boys!
It is truly amazing to see these Star Wars themed areas that are all made of Lego pieces.  Phenomenal!

Here is Hezekiah staring down Darth Maul.

Why it is Great to be Eight!

Today I have a new 8 year old in my midst.  As a family, we got to celebrate his eighthood at LEGOLAND!
He is seriously the sweetest kid you will ever meet, very quiet, but super thoughtful, loving, intelligent, artistic, and super trustworthy.  He is seriously an amazing little kid!  And well, if you can't tell, I love him!

From the evidence above either I am getting shorter or ummm, some kids are growing up!  Argh!! Growing up they are!  Just plain craziness!
This eight year old chose the rides and his first ride of choice was Technic, there was hardly anyone at the park.  We walked onto every ride and on most rides since there was no line we just stayed on board and rode the ride again.  The above photo cracks me up!
We had a blast, screaming our heads off!  It is a lot of fun to watch my kids just enjoy themselves.

Wiggly Worms aka Wigwams

So there has been some studies on Indians here in our home.  This morning Maggie Beth staggered out into the living room with her blankie and Blue Baby, laid on the couch and snuggled a bit.  I looked at her and said, "Maggie Beth, guess what we are making today?  We are going to make Wigwams."  Her little head bobbed up really quickly, and she looked at me kind of strangely and she questioned, "We are going to make Wiggly Worms?"  Eli and I just started laughing.  Then we proceeded to tell her that they are Wigwams that Indians use to build and live in.  She just smiled.  My goodness she is just adorable!

I bet you cannot tell which Wiggly Worm is hers?
I mean, I am sure there were pink Wigwams back in the day!
I love this age and well the other 2 ages too!
They seriously make me laugh!

We made an impromptu run North, up the coast yesterday to visit with some friends who had made an impromptu run South.  Fun WAS had!  I think I like IMPROMPTU, it was a nice surprise.
