Days To Remember G's Blog

This morning when I woke up and if you would have told me that I would have been going on a helicopter ride, I would have probably thought you were kidding.  This day though had just those plans.

I had the privilege of taking the boys on the ride.

We had head sets and we could hear each other talk. 

Here are some pictures from our ride of the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean past the barrier islands.

I am so glad that God had this day in store for me!

Some boys I know went up in a hot air balloon today.

Yeah, they thought that was pretty cool.  Awesome, I believe were their words. 

We went to the Valkaria Air Show today.  On our way there we watched a plane write in the sky "Air Show" and create a smiley face.  Which was certainly appropriate.......we had lots of smiles during our visit.

Above is the map to Fairyland, our house is purple in the upper left-hand corner, next you go pass the clouds, to crocodile lake, and then through the eggs to Fairyland.

Officially at 9 a.m. this morning signs were made in our home.  It all started with the sign below.  "Boys No Girls."

Signs were posted on doors.

Eli created a sign, "Boys No Bears."  Wooo, now that is a relief.

Hezekiah posted a sign on Maggie's door too stating, "Girls No Boys."

Maggie Beth made her own sign, it says, "Girls allowed." 

Eli is also creating a map presently so Maggie Beth can get to Fairy Land.....pictures to be published later.

In the car the other day we were giving Page some good-bye kisses after we took

him his lunch.

Maggie Beth told Page, "Don't give away all my kisses!" 

He said, "I'm only giving away a couple, I got more for you!"

She gets that from us, we will say to her when she is giving kisses to one of us,

"Maggie Beth, are you giving all your kisses away?" 

She will say, "No, just a couple....I got more for you!" 

Today I got to go to Eli's Valentine Party at preschool.

He had a pretty busy day, the policeman came and brought a police dog.

He got to have a party with his class and the other 4's class.

And he and his classmates got to add Menthos to soda bottles and watch the carbonation rise. 

I guess before I got there they put some in a 2 liter and had a very big eruption of carbon. 

They were cute jumping away from their bottles!
