As life moves along, I find this more and more true! People ALWAYS do disappoint. I, like you (I think), have never found a "place" where I feel that I belong in the church. In my perfect mind world, I thought I would meet friends at church. I was praying and praying for a place that I would find friends, people who I got along with, etc. etc. Never happened. Then, I started praying for God to put me where he wants me. Sure enough, He found me a place. Nope, I'm not around people in similar life situations as myself (no kids, not the same age, nothing)...but I can feel that God has me right where HE wants me! It's not what I had in mind, but it's so perfect. (I hope this makes some sense!) OH, and I still need to get Eli's bday present to you guys!
