A Return to the Happiest Place on Earth

So the best time of the year at Disney is probably the Fall and Christmas time!  I love the decorations!   I could sit on the curb at Main Street U.S.A. and eat peanut butter chocolate cupcakes and smell the fragrance of coffee while just being mesmerized by the Christmas lights and the lights on Cinderella's castle.

Maggie Beth and I starred in the Enchanted Tales with Belle, Maggie Beth was Felipe from Beauty and the Beast and I was a plate!  Maggie Beth was so adorable in her little camoflage shirt with all the other little girls in their princess gear!  She is just too funny!  I love it!
When it was her turn to go up and be Felipe, she neighed softly.
It was too cute!

Maggie Beth conquered Space Mountain!  She is one brave kid!  Her and Hezekiah go wild after those roller coasters!  They just say how awesome it is and give all these thumbs up and high fives!
Eli loves them too, but he is a bit more laid back! He likes to produce funny comments such as, "Extra Large Ariel at 12 o'clock, "  and "Now, those are good special effects."
He reminds me so much of Page.
We also conquered Big Thunder Mountain in the evening!
Again cheers all around!  I might be raising roller coaster adrenaline junkies!

Here are those magical lights that I enjoy so much!  Beautiful!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the Happiest Place on Earth!

A Return to The Happiest Place on Earth

A Christmas present, a return to the happiest place on earth, apparently for some people, like myself.
I really do enjoy Disney, maybe more than most children!

Yesterday we visited Magic Kingdom and quickly retrieved a fastpass for Space Mountain.  We  had 3 children anticipating a ride on this roller coaster, since last time Maggie was 3 and not tall enough to ride.  She was super excited to ride for the first time.  Then we went back to Fantasy Land to see some new to us rides.

 Eli my little actor!
We rode the Barnstormer and Dumbo!
The kids really enjoyed the "play as you wait area" at Dumbo too!

We also went on the Under the Sea Journey and Enchanted Tales with Belle.

Here is a view of the Christmas Parade.  We were up by Cinderella's castle and took this picture.  I could not believe how many people were there.  At times it was congested in areas especially over bridges, but we got to see what we wanted to yesterday.  And I so enjoyed the time with my sweet little family!

Maggie Beth got make up for Christmas.
So she has been doing my make up and hers.
I think we are both ready for Cirque du Soleil.
What do you think?

Christmas morning -- safety lessons and shooting BB guns!

A Peek at Christmas Morning

Posted by Unknown | | Posted On at 4:27 PM

Two of three kids were awake at 3 a.m. this morning.  I quietly shut my door and put a blanket at the foot of my door to keep the noise at a minimum and to keep any light out that might shine through.  I also turned the fan up a notch to minimize the noise.  I did not say a word to them, because I knew it was probably my doing.  I had been sharing with my kids that when I was little I would sneak out of my room to see if Santa had come and when I would find the stockings full I would empty my stocking, go through it, and then nicely stash everything back into my stocking to go back through it again later.   That is how I would pass my time til zero hours!

Then there was noise again at 4 a.m.  I nudged the one snuggled up beside me and said, "They've been up since 3."  My beloved went and nicely told children to wait until 6 a.m.  Promptly at 6 a.m. feet pitter-pattered into my room, kisses were planted on my cheek and excited little voices said that Santa had come to our home!  Which is a bit surprising to me!

Needless to say, there was much joy!

What a blessing it is to see those you love open presents that they enjoy!
