3-D Spelling words, Lungs, Capacity, Canada in the Car, & a Little Math for the Ride

I am not sure what your morning looked like, but mine looked a bit like this......lungs were made (as shown above).  A diaphragm to pull air inside the lung and then to push up on it to release the air.

Then the boys blew air out of their lungs to see how much water would be replaced by air which indicated their lung capacity.

Spelling words were written in 3-D, their idea.....it makes it more fun, of course!

In the car on the way to get a deposit back from the park the boys colored in their maps of Canada and sang the geography songs they have learned, including my favorite "Stinky Finland"!  (Eli thought the capital of Finland from the song was Stinky......so now we all call it Stinky Finland!)

A little math and language arts was also included on our road trip.

In a nut shell that is my morning.

How about you?

I think the randomness and surprises of each day make them glorious!  What a blessing!
