Zoo Camp

Hezekiah has been attending Zoo camp this week at the Brevard Zoo.

He has been having some fun adventures.  They have been learning about birds, their sight, flight, and today he said they learned about fish and how they breathe underwater with their gills.  He said they got to touch real fish gills and scales.  (He must take after me)!

They have played in the water lagoon area, have climbed some rock thing with dinosaurs, made some crafts one of which were 3-D glasses that he colored red and blue (not really sure if he could see through them since the lenses were colored over with blue and red marker, ha ha, ha), fed birds at the aviary, has been to the petting farm, the wildlife detective area, and I think that is about all I have pried out of him.  He has really been enjoying himself.  Tomorrow he is looking forward to riding the train and feeding the giraffes in Africa.
