Oh, how these faces change.

It won't be like this for long.

Can you tell I was listening to Darius Rucker this morning?  It is so true.  The time goes by so quickly and it will not be like this for very long in the whole spectrum of time.  These were faces of my children a year ago.

Maggie Beth, as a wee one year old.

Elijah as a 3 year old.

These are their little faces today.  More hair or less for boys.  Inches taller.  We measured everyone the other day and were surprised to see that each child was 2 inches taller from 7 months ago.

It will not be like this forever.  But I want to drink in each day.

I want to listen to my children play Maggie's World, where she is Bagee, Hezekiah is Booma, and Eli is Johnny.

I want to hear Eli pretend that he is swimming to a coral reef.

I like listening to Hezekiah give orders from his boat to where the Diver Dan's are suppose to dive in.

I love when Maggie Beth says, "Maggie's crying.  Daddy more kisses."

Okay, I do not want to forget our TV show we made yesterday entitled Shake it and Bake it....which my kids enjoyed while we made a special treat for a friends birthday today.  I pretended to be a chef on an "actual show"....watch out Food Network....but they kept asking for more of the TV show and they were my special helpers.  There is so much I do not want to forget.

I don't want to forget when my babies were babies.

I enjoyed this morning teaching my kids about sharks.  I used Discovery....http://www.yourdiscovery.com/sharks/anatomy/and I also used Sea World's study guide on Sharks...http://www.seaworld.org/just-for-teachers/guides/pdf/shark-K-3.pdf.  We learned about the fins, gills, and senses of sharks.  We located them on a print out and we also used our sense of smell to figure out things while blind-folded.  We had a fun time.  I am thankful for these fun times and excited that my boys enjoy learning with me.  Our future requests are to study crocodiles and sting rays.

Tomorrow we will measure sharks using goldfish, find out what sharks like to eat, and make our own shark dorsal fin.

I should open my own day camp.....huh?
